I am pleased to announce the appointment of Margaret (Meg) Noodin as interim director of the Electa Quinney Institute for American Indian Education to lead Institute activities as we search for a permanent director. Margaret has a PhD in Literature and Linguistics, an MFA in Creative Writing and is Assistant Professor of English and American Indian Studies at UWM. Her appointment, which covers the 2014-15 academic year, will begin on August 18. Thank you, Meg, for your willingness to take on this very important role on campus and I am looking forward to working with you.
